Hyde Hall Celebration Photos by the Knapps

Our thanks to Chuck and Nancy Knapp for sharing their photos of the September 9, 2006 Celebration of the Hyde Hall Bridge.

Hyde Hall Covered Bridge - Built by Andrew Alden, Lorenzo Bates and Cyrenus Clark in 1825. The Hyde Covered Bridge is not only the oldest bridge in New York State but in the United States. Restored in 1967 by the State of New York and placed on the Sate and National Registers of Historic Places in 1998. - New York State Covered Bridge Society, 2006.

Hyde Bridge, WGN 32-39-01, spans Shadow Brook using a Burr Truss. The Bridge and Hyde Hall are featured in New York's Glimmerglass Park.
